At Made.it, we are huge fans of clear command hooks. We use these to hang banners as well as balloon arches. It is a great way to hang something on a blank wall. And when used correctly, they are easily removable.
Personally, I have them in spots where I usually hang my banners, and because they are clear, I have strategically placed them so I can leave them up.
