How do Digital Files work?

Digital Files are soft copy files that we design for you and your event. It gives you the flexibility to have your décor produced at your choice of printer (ie Walmart, Staples/Bureau, etc.). It’s also a convenient choice for when shipping becomes too expensive for large format items. The Digital files will be customized and emailed to you with turnaround time around 3 business days.

How is Made It Party different from other Party Supply Stores / Sites?

Our shop is a one stop party shop, right at your fingertips. We try to make all your event decor dreams come true. The party decor elements are made to order because they are made customized. There are original and unique existing themes, as well as custom orders. The custom orders can be made with any theme for any event!

What occasions can you make décor for?

The shop can make decor for any event. The most popular events are listed on the website, but feel free to complete a custom order form to order for any event you don't see listed. (Birthdays, Baptisms, Communions, Confirmations, Showers, Weddings, Celebration of life/memorial services, and more!)

What type of décor items can you make?

The shop has listed the most popular decor items, but is willing to make anything you may need. You can always contact the shop if you wanted to request something you don't see. (Banners, Invitations, Signs, Thank you tags, Place cards, Menus, Seating charts, Cake and cupcake toppers, etc)

Are they recyclable?

Most of the decor items are made with paper that is recyclable. Because of the good quality of materials, you can also reuse the decor elements.

You don’t have the size/s that I need. Can you still make my décor?

Whenever there is something you don't see on the website, please do not hesitate to contact the shop.

How are your balloons made and how long do they last?

The shop uses high quality balloons. They are inflated using air, and last quite a long time. They last minimum a week, in a standard room temperature room. When using your balloons outside in the heat and/or sun, please note that this decreases the amount of time they will stay inflated. 

Are your cake toppers food safe?

Yes, they are made with food safe and washable sticks (wood and acrylic)

How do I tie/install the décor items on the wall?

There is a great link in the 'Helpful Tips' tab on the website. This link has great tips on how to hang your banners and balloon garlands on a blank wall. 

Are the placemats reusable?

No, they are made of cardstock, therefore they are for a one time use. Due to the style and design, kids often take more than one sitting to completely color it.

What’s the difference between “Existing Designs” and “Create your own/Custom?”

Existing Designs are designs that have previously been created in the shop as well as popular themes. These are typically quicker to make because we skip the design proof and approval part.

Create your own/custom orders are just that. It is where you can order specific items for a theme or event you don't see on the website.

How does "Create Your own / Custom?" work?

 Custom orders proceed as follows: once you make your order, the shop will get back to you in 3 business days with a design proof. You are able to make revisions on the design until you are satisfied. From the time of approval, it would then take the current turnaround time until completion. 

Can I ship the decor items to someone else?

 Absolutely! Just put the recipients address in the shipping info. Sending someone a gift card is also a great gift to send someone (and you can do so digitally)

Do you keep stock of certain decor items? 

No, not yet. It's in the works.

What's the difference between a month banner and a month poster

Both these banners are typically used for first birthday celebrations. They are used to display the first year of life of your little love. Each element includes a spot for each month of their life from Newborn to 12 months. The difference between the banner and the poster is that the banner is on a string that is about 4 feet long, and the poster is contained within a 20x30" foam board and can be hung on a wall, or leaned on a wall on a table for all your guests to see!

How does “Pick-up” Work?

Once you place your order, you will receive an order confirmation email. If we have all the information we need, we will start making your décor items immediately. The turnaround time is approximately 5-7 business days. Once your order is ready, you will receive another “Ready for Pick-Up” email. The pick-up address (Beaconsfield) and instructions will be indicated in that email as well.

Where do you deliver?

We now ship across Canada

What if I need to add another item in my order?

As long as your items haven't gone to the shipping stage, please contact the shop and we will add it manually to your invoice.

What if I need to cancel my order?

Please contact the shop ASAP, if your order has not been started/cut yet we can look at options.

My package has not arrived. How do I track my package?

 We use a third party shipper that will give you a tracking number. You will be able to track through that.

My items arrived damaged. What do I do?

 Please contact the shop immediately. If you have pictures, that is also good to include. 

My items arrived and have the wrong name / spelling! What can I do?

 In terms of spelling and accuracy, the shop has put certain checkpoints in place to ensure there are no errors. The following checkpoints are in place, you will be asked to put in the information, then you have to check a box to confirm that you have reviewed said information. Once you get to the checkout page, the information is included on the checkout page for you to review again.

My decor item is the wrong size/color!

 If this happens, please contact the shop.

My order did not come on time. 

 Please ensure you have checked the turnaround time at the top banner of the home page. Then you have to add the shipping estimated time to your order. As you know, there can always be shipping delays, so please ensure you order with enough time. 

My event got cancelled. 

 Due to the customization of all decor elements, all sales are final. 

Where do the decor items ship from?

 Decor items are created in house and ship from Beaconsfield, Quebec.

Do you have other locations?

 Not at the moment

Do you have a store front?

 Not at the moment

Do you do fundraising and sponsorships?

 Yes, we are very keen on supporting locally at the moment. Please contact the shop with any ideas you may have. Due to our small business stature, we can't support everything and everyone, but we will always try our best!

Do you have gift certificates?

 Yes we do. You can purchase them on the site and they are sent to you immediately digitally.

Where do you ship?

Shipping is out of Montreal, Qc. Canada. We currently ship everywhere in Canada. 

How are payments made?

Payments are made online through the website.

When will I get my order?

Current Turnaround Time (TAT) for production is 3-5 business days. 

What if I can't find a theme I want

If you are looking for a custom theme, you can use the custom order forms on the site to place your order. you will then be contacted within 3 business days to approve the design proofs. You can also contact the shop with any questions or additional info for your order. 

Where is the pickup location?

The shop is located in Beaconsfield, Quebec

How does the shop handle returns and exchanges

Due to the custom nature of this product, there are NO RETURNS or EXCHANGES. It is very important to ensure that all the inputted information is correct. 

What if there is something I want that you don't offer?

As a one stop shop, we hope to help you with as much as we can. We can source it for you, or refer you to trusted vendors. You can also check out our local vendor list located in the footer menu. Reach out by contacting the shop directly and your email will be responded to promptly. (don't forget to check your junk mail)
